Lead Pastor (Caleb Plumb) ♦ Children’s Minister (Melanie Plumb)
Caleb and Melanie Plumb moved their family to Cedar Rapids in the fall of 2003 to begin the work of Encounter Christian Church. Caleb received a Bachelor’s of Arts in Preaching from Central Christian College of the Bible and a Masters of Arts in Intercultural Studies from Lincoln Christian Seminary.
Caleb enjoys playing guitar, water parks, playing with his kids and being with friends!
Melanie enjoys family time, softball, cooking and planning the weekly activities for Kids Encounter,
Administrator (Nola Schroeder)
Nola Schroeder brought her administrative expertise to Encounter in January of 2007. Her previous experience includes working in the executive office of McLeodUSA Incorporated as a executive assistance to the Chairman, CEO and CFO.
She has a heart for service and brings high quality and professionalism to everything she does for the kingdom. This picture shows her with one of her good friends - a Karen Refugee living here in Iowa.
